Three Days Grace - Animal I Have Become
I was scrambling through notes looking for hand in dates for some uni work I have. I realised that if I wasn’t such a cirpplingly awful internet addict I’d have more work done. Then this song came on shuffle.
“I can’t escape this hell
So many times I’ve tried
But I’m still caged inside;
Somebody get me through this nightmare,
I can’t control myself!”
Sounds about right. Especially the caged inside bit. I’ll be caged inside for a fair bit of this week. Fucking uni!
Although the first few pages are an odd comedic set up, I’m already enjoying Jake’s latest comic endevour. I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again.
Why aren’t you following this online graphic Novel?
I’ve always been a bit of a guitar fan. I own several, and love them all. I’ve always had a thing for Gibson Les Pauls ever since I was about 13. I’m a big fan of Ibanez now adays, and think they make some solid guitars (My staple guitar being an Ibanez NDM1, The signature model of Noodles from The Offspring)
However, my band played a gig recently and one of the other act’s guitarist had what looked like a Gibson ES-335. It wasn’t, it was a replica, but the sound from it was great and it’s made me do a bit of research into the matter. I think that the next time I come into some monies, I’ll be picking up one of these bad boys. I need to do a bit of research and see what era is considered the best for these guitars, and possibly will be investing in new pickups too. All part of the fun though, eh?

CS:S Map creator “Nipper” has been getting a tonne of attention recently, especially on Kotaku. I liked his “The Haunted Mansion” Map, based on The Haunted Mansion found in several Disney theme parks worldwide.
However, there is this video. This map dipicits Van Gough’s painting “Stary Night” I must at this stage say I’ve always found this piece of work…unsettling. I can’t describe it. It gives me a feeling of unease. So watching it in a 3D enviroment like this well.. I got the heebie Jeebies.
